Two plane hijackers ‘beaten to death by passengers’ in China

TWO men who allegedly tried to hijack a plane in China were beaten to death by passengers and crew.
The Global Times newspaper reported that two of the suspects died in hospital from injuries they suffered during the ensuing fight with passengers and crew on board.
The men were part of a six-strong gang involved in the foiled hijack of a Tianjin Airlines flight bound for the regional capital of Urumqi last Friday.
Just minutes after the flight took off from Hetian, southwest Xinjiang, the men, all aged between 20 and 36, stood up and announced their plans to terrified passengers.
The gang reportedly broke a pair of aluminium crutches and used them to attack passengers while attempting to break into the cockpit, Hou Hanmin, a regional government spokeswoman said.
They were tackled by police and passengers who tied them up with belts before the plane, carrying 101 people, returned to the airport safely just 22 minutes later.
Hanmin added that police were still testing materials they had been carrying, thought to be explosives.
The men were reported to be Uighurs, the local Muslim ethnic minority. There have been clashes between authorities and Uighurs resentful of government controls over their religion and culture.
Dilxat Raxit, spokesman for the German-based World Uyghur Congress which campaigns for Uighurs’ rights, said that it wasn’t a hijacking attempt, rather an in-flight brawl over a seat dispute.
“We warn China not to use this incident as another excuse for crackdown,” he said in an emailed statement.
Two more suspects are reportedly being treated in hospital after mutilating themselves.

Jamaican Serial Rapist Chan Wright Raped Again After Avoiding Deportation

A serial sex attacker who avoided deportation after judges ruled it was “irrational” to assume he would offend again has a psychopathic personality, a court has heard.

Chan Wright, 40, raped and brutalised three women in a series of attacks over a 15-year period. He is facing a life-sentence for the crimes – and now tests have shown he has personality characteristics similar to a psychopath.

Experts advised that, if he is ever released, he will need to be monitored round the clock by the authorities.

Wright received a high score in a test to see if he suffered from the personality disorder, the High Court in Edinburgh heard yesterday.

The court heard how the Jamaican immigrant is unable to accept his guilt for the sex attacks. He is also unable to understand his victims’ pain and suffering.

Such behaviour is a common feature of psychopathy, a psychological condition which affects the behaviour of some serious criminal offenders. The revelation emerged on the first day of a two-day hearing into whether Wright should receive a life sentence for his September 2011 conviction for raping and brutalising three women. He also indecently assaulted another two women. Wright preyed on the females in a series of assaults in Edinburgh, West Lothian, Angus and Aberdeenshire over a 15-year period. The verdicts in these cases came four years after Court of Session judges stopped him being deported.

Then, an immigration tribunal decided the rapist and cocaine trafficker posed a high risk of committing further sex and drugs offences, but Lord Johnston, sitting with Lord Eassie and Lord Wheatley, said its conclusion was “irrational and not justified”. Wright had already served four years for raping a teenager in Livingston in 1995.

Unsolved Welsh murder cases still open

TEACHER Caroline Evans, was found dead by a farmer in a copse on Pant Tywyll, Coedpoeth, near Wrexham, in 1945.

The teacher, who lived with her husband Edward in Park Road, Coedpoeth, had left home to visit her mum at the City Arms in Minera at 10pm, but never arrived.

The shocking murder attracted national media attention at the time and a massive inquiry involving Scotland Yard detectives.

But despite an intensive police investigation lasting years, the killer of the 39-year-old teacher has never been found.
THE death of crippled Hugh Watson in a Llanrwst fire in December 1976 baffled detectives.

The 77-year-old had been stabbed 22 times, but died from a fire in a hayloft.

Detectives were puzzled why Mr Watson, who had no relatives, should have been subjected to such a vicious attack and torture, as he was not robbed of his wallet; it was found in the ashes, containing £18.
Though police appealed for two men seen boarding a train for Llandudno Junction early the following morning, nothing came of it. The investigation has been reopened since, but there has been no further progress.

THE badly-burned remains of farmer’s widow Doreen Morris, 64, were discovered at her home in Mill Road, Holyhead, in March 1994.

The mother-of-three, pictured right, had been stabbed, but police were subsequently unable to secure a conviction over her death.

Subsequent checks revealed that property had been stolen from the bungalow where Mrs Morris lived alone, apart from her two pet corgis.

Police believe the killing was a bungled burglary. A BBC Crimewatch reconstruction of the widow’s death in April led to renewed calls for information.

WIDOW Elsie Hughes, 90, pictured left, was found brutally battered to death in her own house for less than £200, which was missing from her home in Hawarden Road, Abermorrdu, near Wrexham.

She was found in a pool of her own blood in September 2005, after it is thought she disturbed the intruders.

In March 2007, two men were arrested on suspicion of the murder, but were later released without charge.

Photographs of trainers similar to those believed to have been worn by the killer were released in 2008, but nobody has been linked with the murder since.

Horrific injuries of pensioner aged 94, attacked as she slept

Posted in scum, Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , on May 4, 2012 by britishloyalist

A 94-YEAR-OLD woman suffered horrific injuries in an attack as she slept in her own bed.

Emma Winnall remains seriously ill and sedated in hospital after suffering a fractured skull, a broken arm and wrist and a partially severed finger in the attack on Monday night.

The pensioner underwent emergency surgery, including having metal plates inserted into her arm.

She is showing signs of improvement and it is hoped she will make a full recovery.

Detectives investigating the incident in Birmingham have been unable to determine a motive for the attack.

They are urging members of the community to come forward and help trace the person who sneaked into Mrs Winnall’s home and carried out the attack.
West Midlands Police Detective Chief Inspector Sarb Johal said: “It doesn’t appear anything was stolen from the lady’s home and the interior was largely undisturbed.

“We believe an implement of some sort was used during the assault – our forensics experts are scouring the property in the hope of shedding some light on exactly what happened.

“She suffered very nasty injuries and ones which, given her age, could well have been life-threatening. She is showing signs of improvement in hospital; our thoughts are with her and hopefully she will make a full recovery.

“Mrs Winnall’s daughter has asked us to issue an image of her mother in hospital showing the extent of her injuries in the hope it will stir consciences and persuade anyone with information to contact us.”

The victim’s carer raised the alarm at 9am on Tuesday morning but the attack could have occurred at any time from 9pm the previous night.

Sickening

Mr Johal added: “This is a truly sickening attack on a defenceless, frail lady as she slept in her own home. Mrs Winnall had nothing of note to steal.

“It was a senseless assault and I’d urge anyone with suspicions about who may be responsible to get in touch straight away.

“The attacker may well have mentioned something to a friend or relative, or perhaps someone remembers a person acting oddly that evening or the following morning.

“I’m sure the answer to this vicious assault lies in our local communities so we’re appealing for help to try and trace the offender.”

ANYONE with information is asked to contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
